Creating Community ~ Celebrating Tradition

A VERY SPECIAL YOM HASHOAH PRESENTATION CREATED BY TEMPLE ALIYAH 6th & 7th GRADE STUDENTS

In class, one of the key points in the Holocaust education was that The Holocaust is a human story and that the Jewish people at every corner resisted in some way. Be it spiritual, religious, or physical resistance.

Our resistance throughout this horrendous and unimaginable human catastrophe is what led not only to our survival but also to our continuity as a people. The students were tasked with researching a person or group of their choosing that was part of the resistance during The Holocaust. In honor of Yom HaShoah,

May the memory of those lost forever be a blessing.
